A French airline specializing in long-haul transport, Corsair is back in the Dominican Republic from Paris-Orly.

Since December 11 and until May 9, 2022, Corsair has returned to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Outbound flights depart Orly at 1:05 p.m. every Monday and Saturday, plus Thursdays from February 3, 2022 and return flights depart Punta Cana at 7:45 p.m. every Monday and Saturday, plus Thursdays from February 3 2022. Plane tickets are available for sale on the airline’s website, from 750 including tax for a round trip with checked baggage.

Corsair International flies to 18 destinations across the Caribbean, North America, the Indian Ocean and Africa: Abidjan, Antananarivo, Dakar, Dzaoudzi, Fort-de-France, Dominica, Havana, Montreal, Pointe-à -Pitre, Port Louis, Saint Dominique, Saint-Barthélémy, Saint-Denis, Saint-Martin, Saint-Lucia, San-Juan, Varadero and Miami since June 10, 2019.

Choice of seat, special meals, additional baggage… Corsair allows you to personalize your trip by modifying your reservation online up to a few hours before your flight’s departure. From 15 euros for a seat in the middle of the cabin to 60 euros for a seat in the front area of ​​the aircraft with spacing between the rows of seats, consult the price list for the selection of seats in order to validate your choice (see here ). In Horizon class, you can book a Seat, located at the emergency exits, for more comfort on board.

When your reservation is finalized, you can find in a few clicks all the information relating to your trip thanks to the dedicated space “My reservation” (see here). After entering the passenger’s last name and the reservation number indicated on your electronic ticket, you will then have access to all the relevant information about your flight: departure airport, departure and arrival time, seat number, baggage additional…

At Corsair, you have the option of checking in remotely and thus saving time at the airport by opting for online check-in, from 48 hours to 2 hours before the scheduled departure time. On the airline’s website or from your mobile, you can then choose your seat, check in for your return flight if it is scheduled within 48 hours and thus go directly to the boarding lounge. If you wish to check in at the airport on the day of departure of your flight, make sure to respect the check-in deadline which is 60 minutes before the scheduled departure time. For departures from or to Dakar and Abidjan, check-in counters close 1.5 hours before flight departure.

When you fly with Corsair, your reservation entitles you to free boarding with cabin baggage weighing up to 12 kilos in Horizon class and 18 kilos in Grand Large class, and with maximum dimensions of 55 x 40 x 20 cm. Personal accessories or coats must be stored in cabin baggage. Regarding checked baggage, the French airline uses the piece baggage system: the number of pieces of baggage allowed depends on the class of the ticket and the journey made.

Last June, Qatar Airways was voted first of the best airlines in the world according to the Skytrax 2017 ranking. Unfortunately, Corsair did not make the top 100. Taking into account the 34 reviews posted by users on the website, the company French airline obtains the customer rating of 5/10 but does not have any stars.

Remember to attach all the supporting documents so that your file can be processed as soon as possible: invoices, ticket receipt, boarding pass and a bank account statement.
