SALON DU BOURGET 2017 – From June 19 to 25, the International Aeronautics and Space Show is held at Le Bourget, in the Paris region. Ticket prices, address, access but above all the programme: all the information so you don’t miss a thing.
The Paris Air Show is held every two years, in mid-June, at the Ile-de-France airport. Each edition of this major meeting of the aeronautics industry attracts professionals and enthusiasts, who can observe the best aircraft of the moment, attend flight exhibitions, find out about new products in the sector, etc. The show is first open to professionals over 4 days, then to the general public on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. More than 2,000 exhibitors are present, from around forty countries. In 2015, during the last edition, an attendance record was reached, with 351,000 visitors.

Other focus will be on the two Airbus models exhibited at Le Bourget: the A321neo and the A350-1000.
Several highlights will mark this 52nd edition of the Paris Air Show. First, the presentation and flight demonstration of the Lockheed Martin F-35, a stealth fighter and competitor to the Rafale (which will also be present), with its 3,000 orders. Then, the presence of the two new Airbus models: the A321neo and the A350-1000, which will perform their first demo in the air. To observe also closely: the convertible Boeing V22 of the American army (a helicopter plane), the Pilatus PC-21 (new training plane of the French air force), the presentation of the Patroller tactical drone, the new Airbus H160 helicopter, a rotary wing drone (VSR700), the 737 MAX 9 and 787-10 from Boeing, the Japanese patrol plane Kawasaki P-1… You can find all the aircraft on the official website present, as well as the complete program of demonstration flights, day by day.
The SIAE, of its real name (for International Aeronautics and Space Exhibition), is held every two years, in odd years, in June. In even years, it gives way to the Farnborough Air Show in England. For this 2017 edition, the Paris Air Show opens its doors to professionals in the sector from Monday 19 to Thursday 22 June. Aeronautics experts, salespeople, engineers, but also journalists and photographers will have privileged access to new products. Then, from Friday 23 to Sunday 25, it will be the turn of the general public to be able to access the show. It will open its doors at 8:30 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. over these three days.
For the general public, the price of a ticket to access the show is set at 14 euros per day. Children under 7 enjoy free entry. For groups (15 people minimum), the price is 12.50 euros. These amounts include the “simple” entry to the Paris Air Show. If you wish to benefit from a seat in the grandstand to attend a flight demonstration, it is necessary to count 11 euros, for an adult as for a child (a combined ticket Salon Tribune is also available at the price of 25 euros).
The SIAE takes place very precisely at this address: Parc des Expositions Paris-le Bourget / Aéroport Paris-le Bourget / 93350 Le Bourget. Two car parks are available to visitors arriving by car: a SIAE car park located near the 4b-La Courneuve motorway exit of the A1 (15 euros for professional days, 19 euros for general public days) and a car park in Villepinte, accessible from the A104 motorway, at exit 2 “Visitors’ entrance” (11 euros – with shuttle to the show included). For those who go to the event by public transport, several solutions: take the RER B to Le Bourget or Villepinte stations then a shuttle to the airport; take metro line 7 or Tramway 1 to La Courneuve – 8 mai 1945 station, then bus n°152, or take metro line 12 to Porte de La Chapelle station then bus 350 to at the Michelet Parc d’Exposition stop.
