Nine departments, of which a large part of the Ile-de-France, have been placed Friday in red alert heatwave, and 53 others are in vigilance orange, because of a heat wave lasting strikes on France, announced Météo-France.

The red alert heatwave, which is only used for the third time (including two summer 2019), concerning Paris and the small crown, Essonne, Val d’oise, Yvelines, Eure and Seine-Maritime, due to the “risk of over-mortality in the context of present health-related ozone pollution and the Covid,” said the bulletin from Meteo-France.
