A truck driver who refused to obey the cops on the highway near Montauban has died this Friday after a policeman shot him, and that his truck caught fire, stated the public prosecutor.

“He refused to comply following a traffic stop, he fled, crashed into a gendarmerie vehicle in which was a policeman. A gendarme has made use of his weapon, the driver has been hit,” added the prosecutor.
