Sharp deterioration in these last days
“The follow-up indicators of the epidemic on the national territory show a clear degradation over the course of the last few days”, she added, including that several departments have an impact is “close to the alert threshold set at 50 cases per 100 000 inhabitants per week”.

In addition, 18 new outbreaks of grouped cases (“clusters”) were identified in 24 hours, bringing the total to 896, whose 578 closed.
The number of patients Covid-19 resuscitation (cpr), almost stable since the end of July, decreased to 379, 12 less than on Tuesday. The Ile-de-France, Auvergne, Rhône-Alpes, in the Hauts-de-France and Guyana comprise 69% of these patients in the icu.
