The closing ceremony hosted by Virginie Efira put an end to this 75th edition. “Without Filter” won the Palme d’or 2022. This feature film (“Triangle of sadness” in the original version) was directed by Ruben Östlund, who had already won a Palme d’or in 2017 for “The Square”.

The complete winners of the Cannes Film Festival 2022. “Without filter” is not the only film to have won an award. ‘Close’ and ‘Stars at Noon’ walked away with the Grand Prix, while Park Chan-Wook won the Director’s Award for ‘Decision to Leave’. The prize for male interpretation came to salute the performance of Song Kang-ho in “The good stars”, and Zar Amir Ebrahimi won the female counterpart of this prize for “The nights of Mashaad”. The screenplay prize went to “Boy from heaven”, while the jury prize went to “The Eight Mountains” and “Hi-Han”. A special prize was awarded to “Tori and Lokita” by the Dardenne brothers.
