The new series “The Night Agent” is a hit on Netflix. Enough to qualify for a sequel in the form of a season 2?
In just days, The Night Agent has become Netflix’s latest sensation. This action series follows a junior FBI agent who finds himself thrust into a dangerous mission that impacts the highest levels of the United States. This new series released on March 23, 2023 has already won over Internet users who do not fail to praise it on social networks. The series is also at the top of the top 10 series watched in France on the streaming platform.
This surprise success of The Night Agent obviously raises the question of a possible sequel. However, it is still too early to know if the series will be entitled to a season 2 on Netflix. As is often the case, the streaming platform is waiting to know the audiences for the series before renewing it or not. However, series creator Shawn Ryan let Deadline know that he already has ideas for a possible sequel to the action series. All it takes is for Netflix to give the green light.
