The American actor known for his roles in the films Ray or Django Unchained would have suffered from “medical complications”, revealed his daughter Corinne Foxx on April 11. The latter was reassuring, assuring that her father was “on the road to recovery”.
A week later, Jamie Foxx is still hospitalized, CNN tells us. “The doctors are carrying out tests and are still trying to understand what exactly happened,” an anonymous source told the media. According to CNN, the incident did not happen on the set of the Netflix movie. The production of the feature film, Back in Action, had to continue filming with a stunt double for the actor, TMZ tells us.
Jamie Foxx, real name Eric Marlon Bishop, is an American actor and singer. He was born on December 13, 1967 in Terrell, Texas. It was at the age of 22, when he began his career in stand-up, that he decided to adopt the artist name Jamie Foxx in homage to Redd Foxx. Jamie Foxx got his start in acting, starring in TV comedies like In Living Color with Jim Carrey. His film career took off in 1999 with the film Sunday Hell by Oliver Stone.
