Netflix subscribers were able to discover the finale of this very popular series on the streaming platform. But not everyone was convinced by the latest episodes.
It is always very difficult to end a popular television series in a way that satisfies all of its fans. And it’s not Netflix that will tell you otherwise, even more so when the series in question is based on an unsolved mystery that has kept viewers in suspense for years! On June 2, 2023, the streaming platform uploaded the last episodes of Manifest, concluding season 4 definitively, but also the entire saga. And between the satisfied fans and the disappointed, as much to say that these final episodes make people talk.
On Twitter, Netflix subscribers are having a field day giving their opinion on the finale of Manifest. Warning, spoilers: At the end of the series, the passengers of Flight 828 manage to go back in time and return to 2013, before the tragedy. And it was better since the world was on the verge of an apocalypse, with the appearance of volcanoes ready to erupt all over the planet. When all seems lost, the heroes manage by magic to get back into the device and go there to face their demons as well as death itself. Understanding that the prophecy of the diary of Al-Zuras asked to atone for his faults and to lighten their hearts, they will finally put an end to the disaster scenario.
“I’ve never experienced such a big disappointment, it’s worse than the end of SNK”, writes a user of the blue bird social network, when another says she is “too angry and upset about the end of Manifest, what a waste of time and energy. Most bitterly regret that these last episodes give no explanation for the disappearance of Flight 828 during this finale: “The series will have been useless for me”, annoys a Twittos.
Conversely, others were seduced by this final. “The ending is very beautiful and logical somewhere. It’s a magnificent series”, can we read on Twitter. “I shed all the tears in my body watching the last scene with Zeke,” wrote one of them, referring to his reunion with Michaela, when many others lamented the lack of conclusion between Ben and Saanvi.
There remains one thing that has unanimously delighted subscribers: the death of Angelina, a character hated by all fans. What is certain is that the end of Manifest left no Netflix user indifferent!
