The series derived from the Star Wars universe begins its broadcast on Disney this August 23, 2023. We detail everything you need to know about Ahsoka.
It’s one of the most anticipated Star Wars series of the year. Ahsoka is finally available on Disney. At least, in part: the series launches this August 23, 2023 with the two episodes, before one episode is broadcast each week, on Wednesdays, on Disney. In this series, the ex-Jedi knight investigates a threat that could upset the balance of the galaxy, which is just recovering from the fall of the Empire.
Ahsoka is an American live-action series adapted from the Clone Wars animated series. On the move: Dave Finoli and Jon Favreau to whom we already owe The Mandalorian, released last March. To give life to the character that gives the series its name, the Jedi Ahsoka Tano, seen in season 2 of The Mandalorian, the production called on its interpreter Rosario Dawson (Sin City, Daredevil).
We also find Hayden Christensen in the role of Anakin and Lars Mikkelsen in the clothes of Grand Admiral Thrawn, as in the animated series Rebels. British actor Ray Stevenson (Dexter, Divergent) is part of the new recruits by slipping into the costume of a Sith warrior. Just like Eman Esfandi, of The Williams Method, who will play Ezra Bridger, also hero of Rebels.

After the fall of the Empire, ex-Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano investigates a threat that could upset the delicate balance of the galaxy. Is it from Admiral Thrawn who could position himself as the heir to the Empire? Or is it an even bigger outside threat? Ezra Bridger, the emblematic rebel who has been missing for ten years, prepares his troops for the worst.
Ahsoka is not a Star Wars series shown on TV and can only be seen on streaming. Like the rest of Lucasfilm’s programs, all you need is a Disney account to discover, from August 23, 2023 every Wednesday, the first season of the series. However, the subscription is paid, and costs 8.99 euros per month.
