Anthony Geary, actor, gained a large fan base because he played one half of super-couple Laura Spencer and Luke Spencer.
At the height their romance, Luke & Laura attracted millions of viewers. Their wedding ceremony was captured on the General Hospital episode, which aired Nov. 16, 1981. It is often referred to as the most watched hour in American soap opera history. An estimated 30 million viewers saw it.
