In a press release published this Tuesday, March 14, the singer announces the cancellation of “her concerts scheduled for the next two months.” “Due to health problems which force her to rest”, Jane Birkin will therefore not be able to perform at the Olympia on March 21, 2023, concert postponed to June 17. Tickets remain valid for this new date.

It is the same for the concerts of Jane Birkin Oh! Pardon tu dormais, which will resume on May 26, 2023, in Bourges and the show Birkin – Gainsbourg, le symphonique, in Montreux, on May 30, 2023. According to the same press release, Jane Birkin will therefore return to the stage after these dates, at the Olympia on June 17, at La Cigale on June 22, then on tour of festivals until next fall.

At the beginning of March, Jane Birkin had already canceled a concert in Brittany. “I’m not well at all, I broke my shoulder blade and I’m in great pain,” she told the newspaper Le Télégramme. In 2021, the 76-year-old singer had already had to cancel her visit to several events after suffering a stroke.
