Oberhof/Thuringia – Oberhof is the fourth Station in the Biathlon world Cup 2018/19. The IBU world Cup there begins with the first competitions on Thursday, the 10. January 2019 and ends on Sunday, 13. January 2019. Oberhof and the local Lotto Thüringen Arena on the Rennsteig Hiking trail are located in the Thuringian forest. By the end of 2018, the German credit Bank (DKB) was the name giver for the stadium. The Biathlon Arena in Oberhof was built in 1983 and has since been a traditional starting point for the team. In 2023, there will be held the Biathlon world Cup.

The German men’s squad of DSV consists of Benedikt Doll, Philipp Horn, Johannes Kühn, Erik Lesser, Philipp Nawrath, Arnd Peiffer, Roman Rees, Simon Schempp and David Zobel. For the ladies, there’s Maren Hammerschmidt, Denise Herrmann, Franziska Hildebrand, Vanessa Hinz and Nadine Horchler, Karolin Horchler, Franziska Preuss and Laura Dahlmeier.
