Electronic music, avant-garde, dj set, but not only. The 30 October in Turin, the nineteenth edition of Club to Club , the festival avant-pop, which this year offers a series of performances in the exclusive, with more than 100 artists from every part of the world.
the title of The edition 2019 is The light in the dark: Season 2 , with which the Festival renews the intent of an exploration of the intercultural meaning of light and darkness. The success of the last edition is, in fact, the reason of the second season, once again inspired by the shadow of The light of Franco Battiato, who has graced the Festival stage in 2014, opening a new cycle in the history of the festival.
The two-night opening – October 30th and 31st – will be the OGR – Officine Grandi Riparazioni. Wednesday 30 October the protagonist will be the twenty-four year old Slowthai , the “Brexit ” Bandit”, with a style that mixes grime, hip hop and electronic. Is a young artist, politically active, attentive to social issues, much loved for her approach, so much so that tickets for his next tour in English (“99p Tour”) only cost 99 pence and the location were chosen by the fans, between places and non-canonical as the pub of the province and a club for workers.
