Next comes the ban on hunting with hounds, and the separators of foxes and badgers (67%). The ban on shows with wild animals divides more, even if the majority of respondents are in favour (57%).

If the referendum were to take place, a French in two (49%) said that it would go to vote. “In comparison, more subjects discussed, and the media as the pension reform or the restoration of Wealth Tax would move fewer and fewer voters (respectively 48% and 46%),” stressed the study. In addition, almost nine voters in ten say they would vote for.

The referendum, the initiative, the shared allows you to submit a bill to referendum if it is supported by at least one-fifth of the members of Parliament (185 mps) and 10% of the people registered on electoral lists (or 4.7 million).
