“After the heartbreaking loss of a baby this past year, we are overjoyed to share that the next little Seewald is on the way,” that the Counting On celebrities told Entertainment Tonight on Thursday, February 18. “The pregnancy is going smoothly, and both infant and Jessa do well. We are so grateful to God for the precious gift of a new lifestyle! The children are delighted, and we can barely wait to welcome this little one into our arms .”
The TLC personalities tied the knot at November 2015 at Arkansas, three months later their participation . The group welcomed their first child, son Spurgeon, currently 5, in 2015. The small one turned into a big brother when Henry, 4, and daughter Ivy, 20 months, joined the household in 2017 and 2019, respectively.
The 19 Children and Counting alum, 28, formerly told Us Weekly exclusively she “definitely” had baby fever and wished to expand her family. “The urge to adopt or possibly nurture is one that continues to weigh heavily on our hearts,” the fact star said in 2018.
Duggar declared this in July 2020, exclusively telling Us about their adoption strategies . “We can wait till our kids are grown and gone and then adopt, but I think that it’s kind of cool to have an adopted child growing up together with all the other kids,” she stated at the moment. “We are just in a point of, like, meeting people who have embraced and obtaining information, hearing their stories and seeing what that may look like for us. … We are not sure if our next baby is going to be adopted or not.”
Seewald added that he and his spouse were asking adoptive parents:”What avenues did you go via [to get ] foster care and adoption agencies? Are you currently adopting local [or] global? ”’
While the couple would love to get a”complete” home, they are not sure they want 19 kids like Michelle Duggar and Jim Bob Duggar. “I guess we are kind of taking it one at a time, and we are thankful for each one,” Jessa clarified.
The fact stars went on to gush in their youngest child’s newest landmarks at the moment, telling Us who Ivy was”daring” and”attempts anything” her sisters and parents eat.
