Kelly Rizzo recently shared that she is in a relationship with actor Breckin Meyer, two years after the passing of her late husband, Bob Saget. She described Breckin as a supportive and kind person who has been there for her throughout her grieving process. Kelly appreciates how Breckin acknowledges and talks about Bob, showing kindness and understanding.
Not only has Breckin supported Kelly, but he has also formed a bond with Bob’s daughters, Aubrey, Lara, and Jennifer. Kelly mentioned that Breckin has met the girls multiple times, and they adore him, creating a special connection that has been comforting for her. She even joked that Bob would approve of her dating Breckin, as he is someone he would be okay with.
While Kelly is open to the idea of marriage in the future, she and Breckin are currently focused on enjoying their relationship and living in the present moment. Kelly is dedicated to her Comfort Food podcast and has recently launched the Comfort Club, a community that provides support for individuals navigating loss and grief. The idea for the group stemmed from the overwhelming support Kelly received after Bob’s passing.
Through her own experience of grief, Kelly has learned that there is no right way to grieve, and it’s important to share emotions and seek support from others. She hopes to normalize conversations around grief and remove the stigma associated with it. In honor of Bob, Comfort Club will be hosting the Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine Event for Scleroderma on Oct. 29, raising awareness for the autoimmune disease that affected Bob’s sister.
Kelly’s journey through grief has inspired her to create a space where individuals can feel seen and heard while navigating their own losses. By sharing her story and experiences, Kelly aims to provide comfort and support to those who may be struggling with grief. Through laughter, joy, and community, Kelly is honoring Bob’s memory and finding solace in helping others on their own healing journeys.
