Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse were all smiles as they made their first public appearance together since the birth of their daughter at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Pacific Palisades, Calif. This marked their first official joint appearance at an event in almost one year and it comes months after Suki gave birth to their first child, a baby girl, in March.
During the event, Suki arrived in a black, floral, belted, plunging maxi dress with puffed half-length sleeves, while Robert sported a blue suit with no tie. Both were seen wearing sunglasses and seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Although the couple has not revealed the name of their daughter, they have shared their joy of being new parents. Suki expressed her excitement about their daughter saying, “It’s just the greatest thing to go home every day and look into [her] little eyes. I’m just absolutely obsessed with her. She’s turning over, sitting up, trying to crawl, doing all the things.”
In June, Robert also shared his thoughts on fatherhood, mentioning that having a baby “makes you feel very old and very young.” He expressed amazement at his daughter’s quick personality development, saying, “I’m amazed by how quick their personality comes, at just 3 months. I can kinda see who she is already. It’s great.”
The couple, who got engaged in 2023 and have been together for more than six years, had discussed starting a family before conceiving their daughter. Suki mentioned in an interview with British Vogue that they had planned it saying, “No, we really planned it. One day we looked at each other and said, ‘Well, this is as ready as we’re going to be.’”
Robert and Suki’s relationship first sparked speculation in July 2018 when they were seen on a PDA-filled date night in London. They made their relationship red carpet official at Dior’s fashion show in Egypt in December 2022 and have since shared many public moments together, including attending the Met Gala and other events.
The couple’s journey to parenthood has been filled with love, laughter, and support for each other. They continue to enjoy each other’s company and are embracing their new roles as parents. Their appearance at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic shows that they are a happy and loving family, cherishing every moment with their daughter.
