The fourth and final season of “Sex Education” is released on Netflix this Thursday, September 21, 2023. But from what time can you watch these new episodes?

It’s almost time to say goodbye to Otis, Maeve and Eric. Netflix is ??releasing season 4 of “Sex Education” online this Thursday, September 21, 2023. It is also the very last of the series, which will conclude the sexual explorations of our protagonists. Like all other productions on the streaming platform, these final episodes are put online at 9:01 a.m. Thursday morning.

In this fourth season of “Sex Education”, most of the protagonists are forced to change high schools after the closure of the Moordale establishment. Otis intends to continue his activity as a sexologist and therapist for adolescents, while experiencing his first long-distance relationship with Maeve, who has left to follow a literature course in the United States.

For her part, Jean, Otis’ mother, must raise her baby alone while dealing with postpartum depression, while Eric questions his faith and discovers a new group of queer friends, questioning his friendship with Otis.

Some emblematic characters do not appear in this finale, such as Lily, Ola or even Jakob. Conversely, fans will also meet new characters, like Abbi, Roman and Aisha, while discovering more about the journey of Cal, a non-binary teenager who has started his transition.

Questions of transidentity are thus explored more than in previous seasons in order to “make the voices of trans people heard”, explains the creator of the series, Laurie Nunn, in the columns of the Guardian, who consulted the trans actors of the series to stage the intrigues of their characters.

Fans of “Sex Education” will therefore be able to discover the destiny of each of the characters this Thursday, September 21. Before that, Laurie Nunn wanted to warn Netflix subscribers: this last season may not be “totally perfect”. “I hope the ending is bittersweet and has everything people want.”
