MISS LANGUEDOC 2023. Maxime Teissier has been chosen to represent Languedoc in the Miss France 2024 election. But who is she?

[Updated August 29, 2023 at 3:01 p.m.] Maxime Teissier was elected Miss Languedoc on August 4, 2023. She thus won her ticket to participate in the Miss France competition on December 16 at the Zenith in Dijon. With Midi-Libre, the new beauty queen says she absolutely did not expect to win the regional crown.

The new Miss Languedoc is 19 years old and comes from Montpellier. If she hopes to win the Miss France crown, she does not forget her studies. She is currently in her third year of studies at the veterinary school in Madrid. She intends to obtain her doctorate with the aim of becoming a surgical veterinarian in the next few years. Maxime Teissier is already preparing to reconcile his obligations as a Miss with his demanding studies. At the same time, the young woman is also a rider and participates in several horse riding competitions.

Miss Languedoc is a beauty contest that elects a candidate for the Miss France national election each year. Before the year 2022, the candidates marched under the scarf of Miss Languedoc-Roussillon. Several young women present themselves each year in the hope of becoming the ambassador of the departments of Hérault, Gard, Aude, Pyrénées-Orientales and Lozère. Since the beginning of the election, four Miss Languedoc-Roussillon have been elected Miss France: Madeleine Mourgues in 1930, Annie Garrigues in 1938, Myriam Stocco in 1971 and Alexandra Rosenfeld in 2006.
