Gwendoline Hamon plays a psychiatrist, Doctor Estelle Segal, specialized in hypnosis who is going through a relationship crisis in her private life.

His daily life is turned upside down when his childhood sweetheart, Thomas (played by Thierry Neuvic) resurfaces in his life as a patient. The latter had mysteriously disappeared and hides a difficult past. The doctor and his patient find themselves on the run when Thomas is accused of having killed a rival of Estelle.

“L’impasse” is the adaptation of a novel written by Aurélie de Gubernatis and published in 2014. If Gwendoline Hamon and Thierry Neuvic play the main couple of this thriller, they are joined in the casting by Stéphan Guerin Tillié in the role of husband of Estelle, but also by Andréa Ferréol, Pierre Deny, Alika Del Sol or even Grégoire Paturel and Avy Marciano.
