The national Order of physicians condemned on Tuesday the online directories of health professionals community after the ads.
last week, the collective anti-racist “Blood noir” had provoked a wave of indignation after the online directories of health care providers “racialized”. The international League against Racism and Antisemitism (Licra) had questioned the minister of Health, Olivier Véran, denouncing “a madness for identity”.
This Tuesday, it is the Order of the doctors, who strongly condemned the online directories of health professionals community : “lists of caregivers classified according to their skin color have been widely disseminated on the internet and the social networks these last few days. The CNOM (Conseil national de l’ordre des médecins) and the CNOI (national Council of the College of nursing) can only take a stand against this initiative, which goes against the fundamental principles of our professions but also in our Republic”, explain the two organizations in a statement posted on Twitter.

“working with the population, health professionals have sworn to treat with the same dedication and the same self-denial, regardless of origin, color of skin, the social situation or the guidance of religious, philosophical or sexual of their patients. They listen to, review and support in the respect of everyone, without any discrimination according to their status or their beliefs,” write the two still bodies.
The College of physicians is also said to be willing to “undertake any action to put an end to these practices that are contrary to the principles of the profession and the law.”
