A homeless man was seriously injured three police officers with an iron bar on Wednesday in Paris. Neutralized by the police with a gun, died Thursday.

A homeless man died Thursday after being shot and wounded the day before during a police intervention in Paris during which he seriously injured three police officers. Police officers were called in Wednesday for a naked man on the track in the Thirteenth arrondissement, near the parc de Choisy, according to a police source and a source close to the investigation.

I would like to salute their courage, their professionalism and their commitment to the service of Paris and Parisians”, had also tweeted the mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo.
