do Not say that he was a lone wolf. Not to say that this was shocking. Not to say that politics does not create attitudes. Not to say that attitudes do not create policy. Not to say that we could not have avoided this.

Each of the fallen is a brother, we tend to say. Each of the fallen is also a sister. Johanne Zhangjia was our sister.

I have thought often on her since 10.august of last year. I have thought about how it must feel to be shot. The physical pain. I have thought about the betrayal she must have felt on – to realize that she was not safe – not even in their own home. In their own bed. I have thought of… What she thought? What she felt? And I am unable to answer myself with something other than tears.

my Tears have been anger. Aggression. Engagement. Impatience.

we Learned nothing of 22. July? Debate

Because she is our sister – we have a responsibility. Responsibility for preventing it utenforskapet that creates the perpetrators. The responsibility to take the same, when hatred gets the float. The responsibility to point out racism – even when it’s uncomfortable. Although it is venninna, tanta or cousin.

Never more – said we – because we have a responsibility.

So is the question – we take the responsibility? Even when it feels hopeless. Even when you feel powerlessness. Even when I first must be shot after 22. July, to then lose the sister Johanne Zhangjia to the same ideology. To the same damn thinking.

When I look to the youth. When I look at those who come after us.

Ina Libak was hit by five shots. Four shots went into her body. One shot entered into my heart through the skin. Today, she is the leader of the AUF. Ina is working for a stronger community for all people – no matter who one is. Ina is working to solve challenges together, for that is what we have: come together.

For me is the story of Ina – also the history of Norway. You can hit us with five shots, but we will still stand upright. And in contrast to him, we are no longer only for ourselves, we stand up for those who are not here with us anymore, and those who cannot be here with us.

We stand up for Benjamin Hermansen, Johanne Zhangjia, for all those we lost from our lives, because the community lost some other first – to utenforskapet.

So, don’t say that he was a lone wolf. Not to say that this was shocking. Not to say that politics does not create attitudes. Not to say that attitudes do not create policy. Not to say that we could not have avoided this.

For that we could. the
And so can we.
