This toll-free number should provide advice to better fight against the heat.
While a new episode of a heat wave hits France, the minister of Health announced on Friday the creation of a new toll-free number. The latter should allow to “have all the answers to the questions that we can ask,” said Olivier Véran in a press.
The number, already active, is accessible to the 0.800.06.66.66. Contacted by The Express, the service indicates to have telephone operators available 7 days out of 7 between the hours of 9 and 19 hours. “The goal is to provide tips for effectively combating the heat to people who contact us,” says-t-on.

In this context of pandemic Covid-19, the Health minister has also recalled that the fan was to be banished to cool off when more people are present in the same room. “The fan is going to stir [and the air] of the virus and send on all surfaces (…) So the fans are to be avoided when one is in a room where there are in the world,” he developed, to the effect that, conversely, “the air conditioning does not pose difficulties”.

“When you’re at home, we close the shutters and windows in the middle of the day ( … ), contrary To the night when it starts to get a little cooler, we start to open the windows”, has also advised the minister of Health. “There is a hydrate water-based, because the alcohol does not offer a hydration, it is even the opposite”, he finally suggested.
