Willing to binge-watch? Camille Grammer showed support for ex-husband Kelsey Grammer’s resurrection of Frasier after among her fans contemplated bypassing the series out of allegiance to her.
“I’m a hypocrite,” the fan tweeted Wednesday, February 24. “Frasier was my favorite show growing up (yeah, browse into whatever you want to there). ‘The Innkeeper’ is among the funniest half hours on TV. This information excites me tremendously for many reasons. But I’m also #TeamCamille. WHAT DO I DO?! #RHOBH.”
“Watch and enjoy,” she replied on Thursday, February 25. “I really don’t begrudge Kelsey’s ongoing success. It was my favourite series too.”
Paramount+ formally ordered the Frasier revival after much speculation, announcing the news on Wednesday. “Having spent over 20 decades of my creative life on the Paramount lot, the two generating shows and acting several, I’d like to congratulate Paramount+ on its entry to the streaming globe,” he said after the announcement Wednesday. “I wholeheartedly expect sharing another chapter in the continuing journey of Dr. Frasier Crane.”
Kelsey and Camille were wed from 1997 to 2011 and share daughter Mason, 19, and son Jude, 16. Their relationship has been controversial since they announced their split in 2010.
“Honestly, I don’t really speak about her very much, since so much of her life is spent discussing about me personally and that I just think that it’s kind of pathetic,” the actor claimed during a November 2019 look on In Depth With Graham Bensinger. “A month after I had a heart attack, my mother died — 12 decades ago today — the afternoon of my mother’s funeral, my husband essentially had an explosion about something.”
Kelsey went to allege that Camille asked to get a divorce the same day since the funeral. “And she began telling me,’I’m out of the, I’m out of here. I would like a divorce, blah, blah, blah,’ that, we’d had exactly the exact same conversation for eight decades, and it had been dull,” he explained. “I understood at that moment that I was done with her, that I wasn’t likely to wind up in this connection for much longer. And somewhere below a year [later], I had been done.”
“This is not accurate,” she tweeted at the moment. “My parents were with us in the Hamptons when we received the information about his mothers [sic] passing. We consoled him and flew back to LA to make arrangements for the funeral. It’s unfortunate he is rewriting history.”
Kelsey married Kayte Walsh in February 2011, while Camille married David Meyer in October 2018.
