“It has been a year and you left it…. Sober,” Sean, 47, captioned an Instagram photograph of the group sitting on the shore among balloons on Saturday, January 30. “So happy we are where we are today!”
The Real Housewives of Orange County celebrity, 43, shared a pic in the same event, showing a cake in the background. “nobody ever said it would be simple, but invite you @seanwindhamburke for making it easier,” she wrote. She posted an Instagram Story shot of a waiter bringing a plate of food on the beach.
The fact superstar revealed during season 15 of this Bravo series she had a drinking problem. “When I drank, I drank till I blacked out or got sick. But I never drank when I was pregnant or nursing — and in various ways, I believe that likely saved my life,” she noted in an October 2020 Glamour essay. “I went into a meeting once I lived in Miami, but instead of sticking to a schedule, I simply got pregnant. I have seven kids, so that’s a huge chunk of my life I was sober — I should say, maybe drinking. I realize there’s a difference between not drinking and being sober, for me.”
The TV personality came out as a lesbian at December 2020 and afterwards introduced lovers into her girlfriend, Kris, via Instagram. She opened up earlier this month about the way she balances her marriage and her relationship.
“He supports me, however, yeah — that is definitely hard,” she admitted exclusively to Us Weekly. “Kris understands that I’m with my kids a great deal, you understand, and that’s difficult for her because she wants to be with me. It’s a new relationship, you understand, but she also knows I have seven children. I have a husband. She knew what she was becoming. There has never been any lying or anything and so she understands that too.”
Braunwyn revealed that Sean has dated other people because she came out. However,”nothing serious” has happened yet.
“Dating someone and falling in love and beginning a new lifestyle are two quite different things. If Sean dated someone, that is great. I encourage that. I believe he should be,” she said. “If Sean fell in love and started a new life, began a new family, yes that could be dreadful .”
