On 10 December, on the occasion of the anniversary of the universal Declaration of human rights, Anci calls a gathering of all the mayors of Italy, from north to south, small and large Municipalities, each belonging to a political or candidate, in order to show together in Milan, wearing the tricolor flag, as a sign of solidarity to senator for life, Liliana Segre, some day, forced to live under escort.
“The tricolor flag – says the president of Anci and mayor of Bari, Antonio Decaro – is for us mayors, the highest symbol and evocative of the principles and constitutional values of our Country, represents our daily commitment to the respect of peace and democracy, against all forms of violence and abuse”.
