November 2019. The replicant Roy Batty is about to die, in the rain, on a roof of a Los Angeles dark and terrible: “I’ve seen things you people would not believe. Combat ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. And I saw the rays B glitter in the dark near the doors of Tannhäuser. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain. It is time to die.” Is the scene essential to Blade Runner, the monologue is interpreted by the Rutger Hauer in the film, directed by Ridley Scott , taken from The hunter of androids (in the original Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?), science-fiction novel written by Philip Dick in 1968.
