Vicki Gunvalson, a former star of “Real Housewives of Orange County,” recently took a swipe at her fellow “Housewife,” Sonja Morgan, for allegedly being cheap. Gunvalson, who has a successful career running her own company, Coto Insurance and Financial Services, made it clear that she doesn’t expect anyone to comp her dinner when she goes out. She emphasized, “If they want to, that’s their option. I would never expect it.”
The drama unfolded when Page Six reported that Morgan, a star on “Real Housewives of New York City,” caused a scene at a New York City restaurant called Tucci after refusing to pay her $1,000 bill. According to a source, Morgan insisted that she doesn’t pay for meals because she gets paid to dine at restaurants. However, she ultimately settled the bill and left a generous tip after the incident. Gunvalson reacted by saying, “Well, that was what she needed to do and then you never go back to that restaurant.”
Max Tucci, the owner of the restaurant, called into a radio show to share his side of the story. He mentioned that he had previously offered to comp Morgan’s meals, but she assumed she could dine for free every time she visited. Tucci revealed that Morgan caused a scene, claiming she was a celebrity who shouldn’t have to pay. As a result, Morgan has been banned from the establishment. Gunvalson expressed her disapproval of Morgan’s behavior, calling it disrespectful. On top of the restaurant incident, Morgan also had a dramatic exit from a Palm Beach restaurant, where she was escorted out in an ambulance.
