DAFT PUNK. French producer and half of the helmeted duo Daft Punk, Thomas Bangalter, has released the first song from “Mythologies”, his first solo project expected in the spring of 2023.

Mythologies, Thomas Bangalter’s project, will have 23 titles, reports Tsugi magazine, originally created for choreographer Angelin Preljocaj, for the ballet of the same name, performed by the Orchester national Bordeaux Aquitaine, conducted by Romain Dumas. “Mythologies is the first opus composed by Thomas Bangalter for an orchestra, through which the co-founder of Daft Punk reinvents his relationship to composition”, can we read in a tweet from Warner Classics, announcing the project, initiated at summer 2021.

In 2021, the separation of the legendary helmeted duo Daft Punk had the effect of a bomb and took everyone by surprise.
