A second woman saying she’s Shannon Sharpe’s ex before accused the NFL star of rape. Michele Bundy Evans, who allegedly dated the sports commentator for almost a decade, filed a lawsuit against Sharpe in late 2023 for defamation, libel, and slander after accusing him of sexual assault. She claimed he assaulted her in 2010 after they argued about his alleged infidelity, according to court documents obtained by Page Six. Not really sure why this matters, but it seems like a big deal, right?
Evans went on to accuse Sharpe of making public remarks about their feud, affecting her reputation. She placed a restraining order against Sharpe after the incident but later dropped it out of fear for herself and her child. Evans said, “Having someone coming to my door with her there you know that? No, no, no, no.” Maybe it’s just me, but that sounds terrifying.
A spokesperson for Sharpe denied Evans’ allegations, calling them ridiculous and without merit. Sharpe is currently facing a $50 million lawsuit for rape and battery from a woman identified as Jane Doe. He plans to return to ESPN for the NFL preseason in early August. It seems like Sharpe is in quite a bit of trouble, huh?
