Rob Rausch recently opened up about his relationship status with his “Love Island” ex, Andrea Carmona, and it seems like he’s not in a rush to rekindle their romance after the end of Season 6 of the show. During an episode of Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast on July 24, Rausch mentioned that he has been in touch with Carmona but believes it’s better for them to keep their distance for now.

Despite acknowledging that Carmona did nothing wrong and handled herself well during her time on the show, Rausch expressed surprise at some of the things she posted following her emotional exit from “Love Island USA.” He was taken aback by the amount of content she shared, considering her usual drama-free demeanor in the villa.

Rausch regretted a promise he made to leave the villa with Carmona if she were to go home, describing it as a decision he now wishes he hadn’t made. Despite having a strong connection with Carmona, he was saddened by her exit during a recoupling session on June 23.

After reaching out to Carmona following his elimination from the show on July 19, Rausch mentioned that they had a conversation on FaceTime where she expressed her care for him. Reflecting on their time together, Rausch admitted that while their connection was strong, it was still early days, and they had much to learn about each other.

During the season, Rausch coupled up with various contestants, including Cassidy Laudano and Daniela Ortiz Rivera, before ultimately ending up with Kassy Castillo, another Season 5 alum. Their journey on the show came to an end during a double dumping on the July 19 episode.

Despite the ups and downs of his romantic entanglements on “Love Island,” Rausch remains reflective and appreciative of the experiences he had on the reality TV series. As he navigates his post-show relationships, it seems he’s taking things slow and focusing on personal growth and self-discovery.
