RATP STRIKE MARCH 17. The disruptions linked to the strike against the pension reform will continue in a very minimal way with only one RER B disrupted on Friday March 17, 2023. Traffic forecasts.

[Updated March 16, 2023 at 7:09 p.m.] As the renewable strike against the pension reform continues on Friday March 17, RATP management has indicated that “traffic will be normal on the metro, bus and tram networks. The traffic will be almost normal on line A of the RER and disrupted on line B”. As the days go by, the mobilization tends to wither despite the renewal of the strike at the RATP. Consult the RATP traffic forecasts below:

For the day of Friday, March 17, 2023, the Paris transport authority expects normal traffic in the metro, “almost normal” on RER A and “disturbed” on RER B.

The movement is also renewed at the SNCF, with slight disturbances which still remain on all the RER and Transiliens in Île-de-France. Check out the detailed forecast below:

In addition to denouncing an “unfair, brutal and inefficient bill”, as indicated in the press release published by the RATP inter-union, the striking agents intend to protect their special pension scheme, which is threatened by the reform of the government. “The interest of having a special regime is first of all to take into account the arduousness of the work. The agents are confronted with night shifts, working underground and handling toxic products”, explained Bertrand Hammache, secretary general of the CGT RATP, at France 3.
