RATP STRIKE. The union is calling a strike on Thursday April 4 to demand salary increases and the holding of NAO for the year 2024. What we know.
The CGT-RATP, the majority union of the Parisian transport authority, calls on RATP staff, of all categories and all services, to strike on Thursday April 4, 2024, demanding the holding of NAOs (mandatory annual negotiations) to the year 2024 and not satisfied with the salary increases negotiated between the other unions and the employers. “The NAO 2024 have not yet taken place at RATP! Faced with the posture of General Management, the CGT-RATP calls on employees of all categories and all services to mobilize on Thursday April 4, 2024, by the strike which will be covered by our current notice”, announced the CGT-RATP union on Facebook.
The CGT also deplores that the increase of 100 euros gross per month planned for all agents will be implemented “only from January 2025”, estimating that “this money, RATP agents need it now”. She demands a “return to the negotiating table”. Furthermore, the CGT-RATP invites the staff of the Paris autonomous transport authority “to gather massively in front of the company’s headquarters at 10:30 a.m. to demand our due and real NAOs”. Traffic disruptions are expected to occur in Parisian transport but forecasts have not yet been announced.
