Leslie Mann and her daughter, Maude Apatow, were seen enjoying a day out in New York City along with other celebrities like Beanie Feldstein, Olivia Wilde, Rosie Perez, and more. They attended the Through Her Lens: The Tribeca Chanel Women’s Filmmaker Program Annual Luncheon at Locanda Verde on September 17. This event marked the beginning of a three-day workshop presented by Tribeca and Chanel, celebrating the ten emerging female filmmakers selected for this year’s program.
The attendees, including a hundred female leaders from the entertainment industry, showcased their support for the event in style. Mann was spotted wearing a chic red and black leather skirt paired with a white top, accessorized with luxury fashion house accessories and makeup. On the other hand, Apatow looked stunning in a light yellow and white cashmere pullover with ivory shorts from the designer, complemented by Chanel shoes, a bag, and Chanel Fine Jewelry.
Jane Rosenthal, the CEO and Co-Founder of Tribeca, welcomed the A-list attendees who were dressed in fashionable looks from the brand’s collections. She emphasized the importance of supporting each other within the Through Her Lens program, highlighting the success of past participants who have gone on to direct critically acclaimed films and television shows.
Rosenthal shared that in the past 10 years, the program has supported nearly 100 emerging filmmakers and the development of 40 short films. These films have been featured at prestigious festivals like Tribeca, Sundance, and Toronto, as well as on popular streaming platforms like Netflix, HBOMax, and more. Many alumni of the program have achieved success in the industry, directing acclaimed feature-length films and high-quality television shows.
