What to expect Fans of their new Album “3 (The Purple Album)”?

Lukas Graham Forchhammer: I write autobiographical Songs in which I can talk a lot about my life. Some of the songs I wrote for my daughter, the Song “Love Someone” I dedicate my wonderful girlfriend. My favorite song on the Album is “You’re Not the Only One (Redemption Song)”. This is a political Song that is addressed to our Generation, to condemn without anyone or to point the Finger at someone. In General, I was with this Album, probably less upset or sad.

Why were you upset at the albums in front of it?

Forchhammer: The last Album was mostly from my father, who passed away six years ago. I had processed many of the Songs are my emotions. The new Album is better, because it Tulipbet carries this kind of grief and Anger.

Why is it called the Album “the Purple Album” (English: “Purple Album”)?

Forchhammer: The first Album “the Yellow, the Brown Album”, and the second was called “Blue Album”. Now it is purple. Among other things, because my daughter was “Viola” and I had to think of the color violet/Purple.

Can you imagine to sing more in future Songs in Danish?

Forchhammer: I don’t know. English is my native language, so I also find that I can Express myself so am free most.

when will you come to Germany on Tour?

Forchhammer: It is a Europe-Tour, which will take place in the spring and fall of next year. Also, we will be probably see again at a couple of Festivals. I cannot be more precise but, unfortunately, – since nothing is made out one hundred percent.

How does it feel to be on Tour?

Forchhammer: It’s funny, but also with a lot of work. You can see many different cities. It feels like a school trip with friends.
