Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing serious allegations from a woman named Thalia Graves. She claims that in 2001, when she was 25 years old and dating a Bad Boy Records executive, Diddy drugged and sexually assaulted her at the Bad Boy Records studio in New York City. Graves explained during a press conference how the alleged assault has impacted her mental and emotional well-being, expressing feelings of shame, guilt, and worthlessness.
The lawsuit filed by Graves also accuses Diddy’s bodyguard, Joseph Sherman, of being involved in the assault and threatening Graves to keep silent about the incident. The lawsuit highlights the power dynamics at play in the music industry, with Graves fearing repercussions if she spoke out against the powerful figures.
This is not the first time Diddy has faced allegations of sexual assault. Previous accusations from multiple sources, including his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, have put Diddy under scrutiny. Ventura’s lawsuit was settled, but a video showing Diddy assaulting her surfaced recently, prompting Diddy to apologize for his actions.
In addition to these allegations, Diddy’s properties were raided by Homeland Security as part of a sex trafficking investigation, leading to his arrest on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and prostitution-related offenses. Diddy is currently in custody awaiting further legal proceedings.
