GRAMMY AWARDS. The 65th American Grammy Awards ceremony was held on the night of Sunday to Monday, February 6, in Los Angeles.
[Updated February 6, 2023 at 11:39 a.m.] Beyoncé, more queen than ever: by winning the 32nd Grammy Award of her career, this night, she surpasses the conductor Georg Solti, until then record holder of the most Grammys won in a career. Beyoncé was nominated in nine categories for Renaissance, her hit album released last summer.
If she is indisputably the queen of this gala evening, Beyoncé will once again have been doubled in the queen categories which are album of the year, won by Harry Styles for the Harry’s House disc; recording of the year, won by Lizzo and About Damn Time and song of the year, trophy awarded to Just Like That, title of Bonnie Raitt. Note that this is the fourth time that Harry Styles has won the Grammy Awards for album of the year against Beyoncé.
Every year, the ceremony is broadcast live in the United States, on the American television channel CBS, as well as on the site of the event and the live performances of the artists directly posted online on Apple Music. In France, the ceremony started around 1 a.m. And if the event traditionally broadcast the next day, on CStar, which does not seem to be the case in 2023, the channel having planned a completely different program.
