Krispy Kreme and McDonald’s have joined forces to offer a sweet treat to customers with a sweet tooth. The president and CEO of Krispy Kreme explained that the decision to partner with McDonald’s was driven by the desire to give fans easier access to their beloved doughnuts.
This collaboration is not the first of its kind this year, as other companies like Wendy’s, Nickelodeon, and Paramount have also teamed up for special promotions. However, the Krispy Kreme and McDonald’s partnership is unique in its offering of free doughnuts to customers in a major U.S. city.
Customers in Chicago can enjoy free Krispy Kreme doughnuts at select McDonald’s locations until October 14. To redeem this offer, customers simply need to show a McDonald’s paper or digital receipt dated between October 10 and 14 at participating Krispy Kreme shops nationwide.
The collaboration between Krispy Kreme and McDonald’s will expand to 1,000 McDonald’s restaurants by the end of the year, with plans to reach 12,000 locations by 2026. This partnership aims to bring joy to doughnut lovers across the country and make Krispy Kreme more accessible to fans everywhere.
