Cardi B recently shared how she found out about her third pregnancy with her baby girl during an Instagram Live session. The 31-year-old rapper explained that she discovered her pregnancy in a surprising way.

In January, Cardi underwent surgery for butt injections and fibrosis removal, which required two blood tests. Both tests came back negative for pregnancy. However, one morning after the operation, she woke up with a metallic taste in her mouth, a sign she recognized from a previous pregnancy experience.

Thinking she was only six or seven weeks pregnant, Cardi’s doctor revealed she was actually 17 weeks along. The doctor showed her a sonogram, confirming the pregnancy and revealing the surprising news that Cardi was further along than she thought.

Initially, Cardi believed she and Offset conceived their child on Valentine’s Day, but later remembered a “really nasty night” on New Year’s. When she saw the sonogram with a fully formed baby, she felt emotional and overjoyed, especially when she learned it was a girl.

Cardi and Offset welcomed their baby girl on September 12, but Cardi admitted she was initially scared to tell her family and fans about the pregnancy, especially since she had filed for divorce from Offset. She eventually shared the news after she started to show and couldn’t hide it any longer.

Despite the end of their marriage, Cardi found comfort in the stability of her life with her daughter. She expressed gratitude for having a home and a nanny to help with the baby, making the experience much easier than before.

In reflecting on their relationship, Cardi and Offset have faced numerous challenges, including a brief breakup in December 2023. However, they have always found their way back to each other, showcasing their deep connection and friendship.

As Cardi navigates her journey as a mother of three, she continues to prioritize her family and her own happiness, finding strength in the support of those around her. With each twist and turn in their relationship, Cardi and Offset have shown resilience and a commitment to working through their differences, ultimately choosing to prioritize their family’s well-being.
