BOOBA. Amid his war with Magali Berdah and her influencers, Booba has a new enemy: host Cyril Hanouna.
[Updated January 31, 2023 at 2:32 p.m.] Magali Berdah, Maeva Ghennam, Dylan Thiry, the Blata couple… And now, Cyril Hanouna. The list of Booba’s enemies continues to grow. Amid his virtual (and now legal) crusade against reality TV star agent Magali Berdah, the Duke has declared war on a media heavyweight: Cyril Hanouna, the sometimes adored, often maligned host of Don’t touch my post on C8.
Countless are the adversaries, virtual or not, of the man nicknamed the Duke of Boulogne. Before the influencers, Booba was (too?) often talked about for his clashes with other rappers, like Rohff, Vald and of course, Kaaris, with whom the gueguerre had turned into a general fight at Orly airport in August 2018. This time, it is Cyril Hanouna that Booba is attacking. A tale of a not-so-virtual crusade.
Between Booba and Cyril Hanouna, it all started, as often, on Twitter, with the sharing of a message from Tristan Waleckx, journalist at France 2, announcing an issue of Complément d’Enquête to come. The same program had broadcast, in September 2022, a magazine entitled Scams, money and politics: the real business of influencers, a fight already led by Booba.
“In a hurry to see that”, had replied the rapper to the journalist about the portrait of Cyril Hanouna to come. Beyond its host, it is to Touche pas à mon poste and to the chroniclers of the show – including Magali Berdah – that Booba has been attacking for weeks.
After the Additional Investigation, still on Twitter (Booba was suspended from Instagram), the interpreter of Scarface took over from the resignation of comedian Emmanuel Barré after three columns at C l’hebdo, on France 5, considering itself censored by France Télévisions.
In one of his speeches, on January 21, he attacked Cyril Hanouna and TPMP: “I failed the oral. As I was stressed, I put my teeth in. And now, Hanouna has to take Hexomedine dick baths three times a day”, or “What the hell are they all doing polishing his glans at Hanouna? They believe that if they rub enough, there’s a genie who will come out and grant their three wishes?”, launched in particular the columnist (see the video above).
“Cyril Hanouna, are we sending him a team?” Booba tweeted, regularly accusing Cyril Hanouna and his mafia methods. This is the third act of this media crusade: “Sicily Hanouna, the godfather of Pré-Saint-Gervais”, testifies to yet another post on Twitter.
Attacks that prompted Cyril Hanouna to respond to Booba, more or less well concealed. On the set of TPMP, the host launched, last Thursday, January 26, without however naming the rapper: “If you want to attack me, do like everyone else, attack me on the networks. When you know that you You’re in the same city as me, shut your mouth. There are people who are far away, they’re being smart. One day in Paris, we’ll see how it goes.”
To which, Booba immediately replied: “Already be a man and say my name. You hang out with thugs but you’re not a thug. At 32 you were playing playstation at mom and dad’s. Don’t lose yourself Baba you’re not ready.” Many tweets followed, sharing unflattering video sequences for Cyril Hanouna, attacking to unbolt the influential host. “In any case, it’s proof that we’re right and that we hit the bull’s eye. Strength for this new adventure”, also threatens Booba on Twitter.
The heart of Booba’s reproaches to Cyril Hanouna is ultimately that, according to the first, the second protects those he calls “influencers” and promotes their questionable product placements. Starting with Magali Berdah, who joined TPMP as a columnist in 2018. For her part, the director of the agency Shauna Events, filed a complaint for cyberbullying on the part of the rapper.
