The journalist and political columnist for Franceinfo, Jean-François Achilli, was suspended as a precautionary measure by his management on Thursday March 14, after the publication in Le Monde of an article according to which he had collaborated in the writing of the autobiography of Jordan Bardella.

It’s a book that has caused a lot of discussion. The management of franceinfo took the decision, Thursday March 14, to suspend “as a precautionary measure” Jean-François Achilli, its journalist and political columnist. The reason: the revelations made by Le Monde according to which the latter would have collaborated in the writing of Jordan Bardella’s autobiography which should be released soon. A decision which takes immediate effect, “time to clarify the situation”, explained the management of franceinfo. Faced with this decision, the president of the National Rally did not fail to react. On the social network X, he denounced methods “worthy of the worst regimes”.

According to information from our colleagues in Le Monde, Jean-François Achilli, who co-presents Les Informés and daily interviews a political figure, was approached by Jordan Bardella for “a joint work”. Indeed, like many politicians, the president of the RN dreams of publishing a work in his name.

Although Jean-François Achilli “refused” Jordan Bardella’s proposal, Le Monde argues that the latter would still have “worked in the shadows”. The MEP and head of the list in the next European elections assures him: “only [his] close entourage helps [him] to write this book”. Jean-François Achilli, for his part, wanted to explain to the daily: “I did not sign a writing contract for Jordan Bardella’s book.” And to clarify: “This all concerns my personal professional life.” If Jordan Bardella’s book has not yet seen the light of day, Mazarine editions, owned by Hachette Livre, could nevertheless publish it, reveals L’Obs.
