These declarations come in a context of increasing tensions between Ankara and Paris.
Turkey has accused Friday the France of behaving “like a guy” and”heighten tensions” in the eastern Mediterranean, after the strengthening of the military presence in the area where Ankara and Athens are opposed.
“France, in particular, should cease measures that exacerbate the tensions. They will get nothing by behaving like bullies,” said Friday the head of the diplomacy of the Turkish Mevlut Cavusoglu during a press conference with his swiss counterpart in Geneva.
These declarations come in a context of increasing tensions between Ankara and Paris, which opposed the eastern Mediterranean, Libya and Syria.

Thursday, Paris announced the deployment of two aircraft Rafale and two warships to the eastern Mediterranean as a sign of support to Greece, which accuses Turkey of conducting research on energy, illegal in its waters.
Mevlüt Cavusoglu has said that Turkey “does not want escalation”, while rejecting the responsibility of tensions on Athens that he called to “act with common sense”.
