The iPhone 15 was unveiled this Tuesday by Apple and the prices of the firm’s latest smartphone have some nice surprises in store!
After many rumors and leaks about it, it is finally here: the iPhone 15 was presented during Keynote 2023 alongside its big brother, the iPhone 15 Pro. Between new features, performance and colors, patience was rewarded for Apple fans who followed the conference late.
Main information expected about the iPhone 15: the new price list has also been released, and it is down compared to previous years! Here is the price list, according to the official Apple website:
As a reminder, the iPhone 14 was released in 2022 from 1019 euros. This therefore represents a price reduction of 50 euros for this new generation.
Indeed: the phone only has one internal storage option similar to previous models and will require investing in an expansion of it if you want more. So the iPhone 15 always starts at 128 GB, then 512 GB, 1 TB and ends at 2 TB of storage. And the price increases significantly between each version. All without any sign of the possible presence of an additional SD card.
However, we note that the iCloud offer already offers 5 GB of additional storage to lighten the phone. However, the option will not be given to everyone either, the paywall imposed by Apple to expand iCloud storage being quite steep.
If fans of the Apple brand were impatient to discover the phone, many were pleasantly surprised by the news concerning the prices of the iPhone 15. Indeed, the latter are lower, which represents a first for Apple for several years. The iPhone 15 is cheaper than previous generations!
This now raises the question of previous generations losing a lot of interest. Will Apple have to lower the prices of previous models?
