The Olympic judo events will take place from July 27 to August 3. Discover the full calendar.

Judo has been, for several editions, one of the flagship sports of the Olympic Games. Present since the Tokyo Games in 1964, judo has awarded 15 gold medals at each Olympics: 7 for women, 7 for men and a mixed team event since the Tokyo Games. National sport in Japan, it is the Land of the Rising Sun which historically dominates the medal table at the Olympic Games, ahead of France and South Korea.
