activists, anti-restrictions Covid-19, denouncing in particular the wearing of the mask mandatory, have met for the first time in Brussels, Belgium, this Sunday.
More than 200 people demonstrated on Sunday in Brussels against the restrictions anti-Covid, in their eyes, killing freedom, some accusing the authorities and the experts to be in the pay of the pharmaceutical industry.
“Corona circus”, “this is my body this is my choice”, could be read on the placards, the angry protesters also referring to the mask-wearing mandatory vaccines that the american billionaire Bill Gates or the 5G.

“These are not the virologists and doctors who will be dictating the rules in our country,” said Michel, one of the demonstrators preferring to conceal his name, confident his weariness that”it takes us to children”.
The wearing of a mask became mandatory on 12 August on the territory of the Brussels region (1.2 million inhabitants), on a background of a resurgence of the pandemic in a country where it has nearly 10 000 dead.
“Crazy viral”
The call to demonstrate was launched a few days earlier on the social networks by a group of citizens under the slogan “Viruswaanzin” (“crazy viral” in Dutch), local declination of a movement appeared in the netherlands.
It is with a demand of resignation of the virologist flemish Marc Van Ranst, one of the members of the committee of experts consulted by the belgian government on the pandemic, and that is also in the sights of the far-right flemish for its positions marked to the left on social issues.
The gathering was held at the foot of a tower, the administrative center of Brussels, where the participants were invited to a succession of small groups to deliver a letter demanding the resignation of Mr. Van Ranst.
Some of the demonstrators were masked, others not. A man was wearing a life jacket orange with the inscription, “ready for the second wave. To his side, another protester had written on her t-shirt “no to this charade”.
