All candidates for the 2023 baccalaureate are fixed for Tuesday, July 4. The catch-up tests take place on Wednesday.
Each year, nearly 50,000 high school students take the baccalaureate remedial oral exams, which take place just after the results are published. These are communicated this Tuesday July 4, the remedial tests are scheduled from Wednesday July 5 to Friday July 7, 2023.
Where can I find the resit oral result?
The results of the remedial oral are provided to candidates in the wake of the test, which allows everyone to know if they have recovered enough points to be a bachelor. They are then communicated to the rectorate during the day or at the latest the next day. The results are then reintegrated into the initial results of the baccalaureate and can be consulted free of charge on Linternaute.com. To do this, go to our baccalaureate results page.
For this phase of the last chance, only two tests were passed by the candidates in repechage whose objective was to reach the mark of 10/20. The remedial tests relate each year to the subjects chosen by the candidates: thus, to recover the maximum points, the key is to take into account its facilities in the different fields of study, but also the coefficient of each of the tests.
The key info on how resit works is as follows: it is the best mark between that of the written test and that of the resit oral which is ultimately kept. If you are a resit candidate, it is therefore generally advisable to choose a test where you obtained a bad mark, in order to optimize your chances of doing better. Another piece of advice: instead of re-reading all of your courses, it is recommended to favor consulting the subjects of the baccalaureate, and in particular the zero subjects of the Ministry of National Education. If you dry up on part of a yearbook, you can then re-read your relevant course sheet diagonally. As for the passage of the oral as such, it is often advisable to be active. Interviewed by CNews, Bertrand Galliot, mathematics teacher and educational director of the school support site Les Bons Profs, explains that you should not be afraid “to interact with the examiner, to answer questions, to bounce back”. Managing your preparation time well is also essential. Bertrand Galliot recommends on this point to “make a draft without writing too much”. This consists of writing out your plan in outline, so that you can read it at a glance at the time of the presentation: then you know what you are talking about, but without having to read your sheet.
The remedial oral test in bac pro includes two orals, lasting an average of 30 minutes each.
In bac pro, the oral test is marked out of 20, from the mark out of 10 obtained at the end of each of the two orals mentioned above.
