“I can’t believe that I’m showing your guys our BACKYARD! Godwin, 26, shared the photos and thanks via Instagram on Thursday, 15 July, along with photos of the updated space.
Godwin and Barbour (27 years old) met while filming season 6 on Bachelor in Paradise. They were engaged and have been able to show their fans the progress of their new home.
Godwin wrote, “RIP to our backyard. We can’t wait team up with @thebuildsters for our dream outdoor oasis (openly changing the name club Dylan lol),” captioned a March post where she invited fans to vote for their favorite design.
After getting engaged in 2019, the season 23 Bachelor contestant shared her excitement at moving to San Diego with Barbour.
Godwin stated that they have their eye on a place, and are still waiting to see if all goes well. But if so, then we’ll be moving into San Diego in the next few weeks,” Godwin said in Us Weekly October 2020. “I am so excited, and I’m excited that there will be room for all my shoes and clothes.”
The Alabama native gave an update about the couple’s wedding, after the coronavirus pandemic caused havoc in their plans.
The former beauty pageant contestant stated that the wedding planning process had been put on hold due to COVID and other issues. We’re waiting to see where the world will be in the next few years. For now, I’m Pinterest-boarding it and saving photos, and we’re having a lot of fun talking about it. It will be even more special if we can actually have our big day.
Godwin decided to keep her big day a secret even though she had to delay it.
She noted that even if the venue is in good shape, once everything has been booked back, everything gets pushed forward.” It’s been interesting but it’s worth it. I feel sorry for the brides and everyone who had a date set but had to cancel. It’s so frustrating. It’s a bummer.
Bachelor Nation alum, who admitted she was happy to remain engaged to Barbour for a while longer, told Us that “I think we are just enjoying being engaged and, I mean we definitely want the next step and they’re ready but I don’t think it’s too rushing into things for now.”
