PEUGEOT 508 2023. Peugeot has unveiled the first info and photos on its restyled Peugeot 508 sedan. Announced for this year 2023, it notably presents a new front face.

[Updated 24 Feb 2023 11:31am] 2023 has been a very active year which has started at Peugeot with many restylings and launches. On February 24, 2023, the French brand unveiled one of these modernizations with the formalization of the restyling of its 508 sedan. In addition to the first official photos of this restyled 508, Peugeot also gave some additional clues about its range.

The move upmarket is obvious since the finishes will be reduced to Allure, GT and PSE. The new 508 will arrive on the market in the summer of 2023, in June specifies the Lion brand with pre-orders open from spring. Its prices and details of the range in France are not yet known. New front end with a unique light signature, arrival of the new Peugeot logo at the front and rear, modernized interior with a revised i-cockpit, there are many new visual features…

This is less the case under the hood with the overall maintenance of current engines. Surprise for example since we do not find the 136 horsepower hybrid petrol engine seen for example on the Peugeot 3008, Peugeot having chosen to prefer the current non-hybrid version developing 130 horsepower. Damage ? Peugeot is catching up with the arrival of a plug-in hybrid version of 180 horsepower in addition to the already existing one of 225 horsepower. At the top of the range, we will always find the PSE version, for Peugeot Sport Engineered with its 360 combined horsepower. While waiting to learn more about the prices, you can discover it in detail and in images below!

While waiting for the restyled version expected for the summer of 2023, the current 508 remains on the market, in sedan or SW break version as currently. The 508 SW, the break version of the 508 sedan, had been tested by the Automobile section of Linternaute.com in 2020. In our test carried out on the roads of Portugal, we review for you all the specificities of this version, starting with the trunk, advertised as more spacious than that of the sedan. The Peugeot 508 SW also has a revised and corrected passenger compartment: Peugeot has listened to the criticisms of the sedan’s too cramped rear seats in particular. Check out our test drive of the Peugeot 508 SW to see what that cabin looks like and its impeccably finished cockpit! We were also able to test the road behavior of this 508 SW.
